Small Talk Nurseries – Wolverhampton opened in January 2021 as a fifth edition to the Small Talk Nurseries Franchise. This nursery is run by Graduate Level 6 Management, with years of experience and knowledge about childcare provisions. The building has been converted from two houses to a purpose-built nursery which provide rooms for children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years old and also has room for breakfast, after school and holiday club provision for children up to 15 years of age.
We have CCTV covering most areas and rooms and a fingerprint entry system to provide security for our staff and children.
We are committed to provide high quality early years education for all children in our care. Therefore, we have created a safe, light and spacious environment with an in-house kitchen to provide healthy and nutritious meals, a large outdoor area and a big carpark.
We understand that starting your child at nursery can be a daunting experience for both parents and children and therefore we go the extra mile to help you and your child settle into nursery. Once you have registered with us, we offer a settling in period for your child where you are invited to stay and complete an “All About Me” which enables the practitioners to learn about each child and their families. You are also provided with a “Welcome Bag” which contains fun activities for you to do at home that are easy and cheap to recreate.
As a nursery, we also pride ourselves in upskilling the staff team and regularly provide them with training opportunities to improve their Continuous Professional Development, through online training with Noodle Now, offering an in-house Graduate Programme and sending them on external training sessions.
Our aim is to create a home from home environment to support children’s emotional wellbeing and to support all families where possible. Therefore, we offer a varied range of sessions, paid and funded, to suit the needs of both parents and children.
When your child starts with us, you will receive an e-mail that allows you to log on to our Parentzone app and access your child’s Learning Journey. This enables you to see what your child has been up to in the nursery through photos and videos and any daily messages. You are also able to communicate with your child’s key person through a messaging service.
For extra peace of mind, CCTV operates throughout the nursery and covers most areas both indoor and outdoor.
Our nursery has a large, grassy outdoor area where children can explore, improve physical development, and learn through their experiences. We have a variety of areas in the garden including a music wall, water wall, muddy kitchen, and balancing area. So make sure those wellies and waterproof clothes are packed as we like to go out in all weather! We don’t just rely on our own outdoor space, we often go out into the local community and regularly visit local shops and the library.
At Small Talk Nurseries, we understand that children may come to us with a variety of additional needs, and therefore, we have created a calming space away from the main rooms where children can go for some quiet time. Our rooms are equipped with a variety of sensory resources, lights, and their own cozy corner for small groups or individuals to explore with their key person.
All our Children get free meals, so you don't have to worry about dinner money for your little ones. We serve a range of different meals throughout the day to ensure your child has a balanced diet. Depending on what time your child comes to nursery, he/she will get Breakfast, Mid Morning Snack, Hot Lunch, Mid Afternoon Snack and/or Tea.
We offer breakfast from 7:30am till 8:45am which consists of a choice of cereals, toast with a choice of spread and water or milk.
For lunch a freshly prepared meal is made by our onsite cook daily and is served between 11.15am and 11.30am taking into account the dietary needs of the children who attend. Special dietary needs will always be catered for.
